At the recently-held Public Relations Society of America, Los Angeles (PRSA-LA) PRisms Awards ceremony at the Omni Hotel, Cerrell captured seven PRism Awards for its work in healthcare, wellness events, political campaigns and writing.
Los Angeles’s senior public affairs firm took top honors for best opinion editorial writing on ethics and corporate social responsibility; two campaign awards for a parks and open space measure in the City of West Covina; and a healthy eating multi-media campaign for Providence-St. Joseph’s Health.
Cerrell also won three Awards of Excellence, including honors for strategic media planning for Providence-St. Joseph’s Health; a “Women in Government and Politics” forum with USC honoring the late Lee Cerrell, the co-founder of the firm; and a special event on combating chronic diseases and the impacts on health care budgets and costs with the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease.
“We are thrilled and very appreciative for these awards from PRSA-LA that honored the hard work and societal impact of these programs as well as the work done by our staff and our clients,” noted Cerrell CEO and PRSA-LA Chapter Past President Hal Dash. “There is nothing more satisfying than executing projects that inform and educate and local communities and stakeholders on key issues that positively impact so many lives.”
